General

By placing an order through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are here to keep things fair and transparent.

Products

  • Items are vintage or second‑hand, so signs of age or wear are to be expected.
  • All items are sold as‑is, with detailed photos and descriptions provided.

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in NZD and reflect the condition, rarity, and market value of each item. I aim to keep pricing fair, transparent, and competitive within the New Zealand vintage market.
  • Payment is required within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, and JCB via Shop Pay.
  • Afterpay: Available at checkout for eligible orders. All instalment plans, approvals, and repayments are managed directly by Afterpay and are subject to Afterpay’s own terms and conditions. Monster Vintage has no control over Afterpay’s approval process or payment schedules.
  • Bank Transfers: If you choose to pay by bank transfer, your order will be held for 24 hours while payment clears. Orders are not shipped until payment has been received in full. If payment isn’t received within the timeframe, the order may be cancelled and the item returned to stock.

Shipping

New Zealand

  • Orders are shipped via Pass the Parcel.
  • Dispatch is on Mondays, with tracking provided.
  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather, or peak periods.
  • Flat rate shipping: $8 urban / $12 rural.
  • Free delivery is available on all NZ orders over $100 (urban and rural).
  • If a rural address is entered but the urban rate is selected at checkout, the rural surcharge will still apply and must be paid before your order is shipped.

Local Pickup & Drop-Off

  • Free town drop-off is available every Thursday morning when we’re in Marton running errands.
  • Drop-off times may change depending on availability, weather, or scheduling conflicts.
  • We reserve the right to refuse drop-off if the location is unsafe, inaccessible, or raises safety concerns. In these cases, standard shipping will be offered instead.

Australia

  • Flat rate shipping: $30.
  • All Australian orders are sent via NZ Post International Economy.
  • Includes basic tracking.
  • Delivery usually takes 3–10 working days after dispatch.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to international transit delays, customs processing, or peak periods.
  • Any customs duties or taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns & Refunds

  • All sales are final unless the item is not as described.
  • If there’s an issue, contact me within 3 days of delivery with photos and details.
  • Refunds or credits are handled on a case‑by‑case basis.

Liability

  • I’m not responsible for delays, damage, or loss once the parcel is with the courier.
  • Please ensure your address details are correct when ordering.

Privacy

  • Your personal information is only used to process and deliver your order.
  • I don’t share or sell your details to third parties.
  • All payments are processed securely through Shopify’s integrated payment system, and no card details are ever stored by Monster Vintage.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted here.
